Week Two

Weight check: 8 pounds, 6 ounces.

Yeah! Logan regained the weight he lost after birth, and then some! Doctor is pleased as punch, and so are Mom and Dad. Such a little milestone, but just enough to make us feel like we're doing something right, and boy, does that feel good.

It would seem the "Chill-axing" post below was a little premature. This week (well really, just the past 3 evenings) our chilled-out angel baby became a fuss-bucket. We think it's a growth spurt. Or gas. Hopefully, whatever it is, it's temporary.

This week, Logan grew into his swing.

Well, almost. I was thrilled when I put him in it and his head didn't lop over, and even more thrilled when it shut him up and put him to sleep. About 15 minutes after this picture was taken, and I was power-cleaning the floors (really, this just means I was using the Swiffer), I heard a loud cry. Looked over and his head was lopped over and leaning on the side of the swing. *SIGH* Oh well, maybe next week...

Cute! FYI - We had that exact same swing and it took me two months to figure out that you can recline the seat. Is he leaning back all the way? There's a bar contraption on the back that might let him lie down a little more. Good luck! Our babies always got super fussy right about the time Daddy came home and I was trying to make dinner. Uggh. I sympathize.

Uh. I had noticed it had a bar in the back and I was certain that this was the furthest it reclined back and thought it was so stupid because it didn't go back further. After reading your comment I decided to investigate further and lo and behold - it DOES recline further! He's been enjoying it for quite some time now - thank you!
