March Miscellany

Well I figured I'd squeeze in one more post before the month ends. This is essentially a "camera dump" post - just some hodge-podge stuff I need to get off my camera and do something with. It's mostly boring landscape photos that I took during a photography class I attended a couple weeks ago. These are just some of my favorites I snapped as I began learning more about light, metering, depth of field and blurring motion. It was a fun class.





























Here are a couple more cards I knocked out this week - one for my nephew's 4th birthday (he just started playing baseball, and LOVES it!). And the other one is for my step-brother and his wife, who welcomed a new baby boy two weeks ago!

And Logan playing with his feline brother. Incidentally, Logan had been cleaning up the toys and put this rubber thing away (it attaches to his play grill, but he pulls it off all the time and waves it around. He had just laid it on the bottom of the grill when he was picking up toys). Latty (the cat, if you're new here) went over and got that rubber thing, and brought it back onto the couch. I noticed it when we were done picking up the toys, and Latty was just sitting next to it, watching Logan, as if to say, "Come play with me!". I showed Logan that Latty wanted to play with him, and this is what ensued:
