Developmentally, Logan has begun to smile and coo, he can take coordinated swipes at the toys hanging in front of him on his carseat and rocking chair. He has learned to kick his Baby Einstein Activity Gym to make the music and lights come on, which he then will smile and coo at! He scootches off the blanket when laying or napping on his tummy. He even rolled over last week - from his belly to his back! (He hasn't done it since, so I'm thinking it might have been a fluke, but STILL!!!)
So, here are the monthly "proof of incredible growth" shots. He has his next well-baby check on Sept. 22, so we'll have the official stats then, but good faith estimates put him at about 11.5 lbs and 23.5 inches long.
Long, tall cowboy...
We love our kitties!
AND, it looks like he's figured out how to tell Mommy he's tired of the photo-taking!
Stay tuned for major events coming up in the next month, including our big airplane trip to the West coast, meeting more family and friends, first vaccinations and (**SNIFF, SNIFF**), his first day of daycare...
